Knowing God Fully – Near, Majestic, Active, Beyond
God is bigger and closer than we can imagine. He is immanently present, intimately involved in our lives, sustaining and guiding us. There is nowhere we can go where He is absent. In Christ, God drew near to us in the most personal way, entering our world to redeem and restore it. At the same time, God is eminently majestic. He reigns in glory, holiness, and sovereignty above all creation. His greatness is beyond comprehension, yet it does not prevent Him from loving and caring for us. Worship flows naturally from recognizing both His power and His nearness. God is also imminently active. His plans will not fail or delay forever. Christ’s return is near, and every promise of God will be fulfilled at the appointed time. This reminds us to live faithfully, watchfully, and obediently, trusting that God is working in history and in our lives. Finally, God is transcendent, beyond space, time, and human understanding.
